Halloween 5k Race & 1 Mile Fun Run

This year the GCWA is teaming up the Queen City Striders (QCS) to host the Halloween 5k Race in Midland on October 25, 2008 at 8:00am. Proceeds from the run will help to support the ongoing projects of the GCWA. Race day registration will be held are the Midland Fire Hall from 7:00-7:45am. After the race, be sure to stick around for refreshments and awards.

Entry Fees: $15 Adults; $12 Pre-registered (post-marked by October 18th)

                  $10 Students and Children under 18

Awards: There will be a $50 cash prize to the overall male and female top finishers and the top Master's finishers. Non-cash prizes will be awarded to the top three finishers in each age division and commemorative t-shirts are guaranteed to the first 100 entrants.

Rubber Duck Race

The GCWA also races rubber duckies down Georges Creek. If you would like to sponsor a duckie in our race, please contact Kelly Martin.  Sponsorships range from $5.00 to $10.00.  Prizes will go to sponsors of the first three ducks to make it to the finish line.
